Get ready to taste the new and exciting beverages from Port Rexton Brewery Co., a brewing company based in Newfoundland that specializes in seasonal and experimental craft beers!

For my first internship project, Port Rexton Brewery Co. gave me with the amazing opportunity of designing a beer can label that could effectively integrate into their core line up of beverages. The new brew is called Siren of the Sea, a blonde ale beer that is light and refreshing in terms of design and taste.

The ask of the client was to have a minimum of 4 PDP options to start. For the illustrations/patterns, Royalty Free stock images were requested because of the limited budget. Once an option was chosen, the license would be purchased for it.

I tackled this project by trying to curate four diverse possible label designs that I felt were diverse and matched the brand's look. From literal mermaid and siren patterns to abstract textures, I slowly stepped out of the client's comfort zone while still staying on theme.
